THE ORGANISERS PREPARE FOR CHRISTMAS NOVEMBER 2009
The Organisers has taken on a ‘Christmas fairy’ to help clients cope with the demands of the festive season.
Despite the recession, The Organisers is already busier with Christmas tasks than it was last year and CEO Katie Shapley decided an extra pair of hands was needed.
Katie, who founded The Organisers 10 year ago, says: ‘We provide solutions to clients’ domestic and corporate challenges round the clock, throughout the year, but November, December and January are definitely our busiest months.
‘This year, clients are relying on us more than ever. In order to make sure we are always able to offer the unrivalled service they expect, I decided to recruit another personal assistant who will stay with us until the end of January.’
Clients who contact The Organisers in the run-up to the holiday period present Katie’s team of super-efficient PAs with very specific challenges.
Katie says: ‘Clients need help with everything from present buying and tree dressing to preparing their homes for when friends and family arrive and recruiting domestic staff.
‘Many of the people we work for travel at this time of year and rely on us to make sure their flights, cars and arrangements for Christmas Day run smoothly.’
Most clients have long-standing relationships with specific members of The Organisers team. The new staff member, Leonora Kennedy, who has been employed because of her excellent organizational skills, will support them as well as finding solutions to problems which need be dealt with immediately.
Katie says: ‘I’m delighted we are in a position to expand the team when our clients need us most. If they are able to sit back and relax knowing we are taking care of things for them, then I know we’ve done our jobs!’
